Wedding Albums and Design |
My aim as your wedding photographer is to
create a unique record of all your most personal and perfect memories. I want my images of your wedding day to
evoke the emotions of the moments I have captured to give you life-long enjoyment
of your wedding portfolio.
Wedding albums vary in style as much as my
clients vary in personality and thus the design and style of your album can range enormously. I will be happy to work with you to create an album you
will cherish as much as the memories it holds.
I work with top wedding album companies
such as Jorgensen, G. F. Smith Wedding Albums and Graphi Studio Weddings; together we can
design, display and create an album of your wedding photographs that is
personal and unique to you.

How the process works
You will receive all your wedding photographs from me on a
high resolution CD from which you can select the images you would like included
in an album. I will help you with the amount of pictures to choose. This all depends on album design, style, size and the amount of pages you want.

|
Design of album
There are two basic types of album design
available at the moment – (i) story book and (ii) traditional album You are welcome to browse my website for the sample albums I have
designed for other couples. However, in order to fully appreciate the beauty of these albums I feel
you need to see and experience them for yourself; please feel free to contact
me to arrange a meeting. |
|
Story
book design
This is a classic design where your images
are collated on the pages and displayed in chronological order – i.e. the story
of the day as it unfolds. The
pages are laminated into the album using your choice of finish – metallic,
gloss, luster, satin or matt.
|
|
The Traditional Album Design This is a beautiful and very organized
album in which your pictures are set out on the pages within a mount to
separate one image from another.
|
|
Choosing
your album Initially you will need to decide on the size and style
of your album you would like and, for example, whether you would like the album to
be square, rectangle or portrait. |
|
Album finishes I work with several album companies all of which
have been in the business for many years. They provide high quality, professional service and a range of products
and prices to suit all budgets. For example You are welcome to browse my website. However, in order to fully appreciate the beauty of these albums I feel
you need to see and experience them for yourself; please feel free to contact

Producing
your album
Once you have chosen the style and design
of your album you can either opt to allow me to decide on the layout of your
images, or you are welcome to sit next to me in my studio to work on this
together. Either way, the
process is not rushed and you can review and change your design as many times
as you need to. Once you are happy
with everything (and not before) your album will be sent for production. This usually takes between four and
twelve weeks, depending on the time of year.
