| Swansea wedding photographer Hi mark, Just to say we were really really pleased with the wedding photographs of Em and Steve's wedding; we only "got" them late last night, intended to have a quick whizz through the first few and ended up an hour later trawling through each and every one. I think you did a terrific job with all the obligatory, formal shots, and we greatly appreciated your calm unobtrusive guidance through the proceedings, and some of the less formal ones are simply stunning--like the two boy ushers back to back, lovely shots of the bridesmaids, the shower of rose petals, people at the reception--very very nice indeed.. Thank you so much; you worked incredibly hard.. And Emily looks beautiful which is at least three quarters of the point, I guess. .... Not sure what happens next, but we'll all be in touch no doubt. | What more can I say about Mark Button other than he is a true professional and a gentleman! From the moment me and my wife to be met Mark we felt totally comfortable in the knowledge that he would manage our day to create memories that we will be able to view forever. Is work is of the highest standard and to be honest he's a really nice guy to go with it. I will always be grateful for his help to settle my nerves at the church before we began the ceremony and that sums mark up perfectly. From the first picture to the last he is at hand to guide, support and help all members of the wedding party for the photos in a fun and cheeky way to make the sometimes boring process of lining up to be one filled with laughter! Great with all ages, from young kids to old he is truly a gent and I'm so grateful we found him!

| Got married in april 2013, I found Mark to be a very pleasant and professional person and someone who help to make our day a special one. From the first meeting we had to the day itself I felt completely comfortable with Mark's advice, knowledge and ideas as well as having input from ourselves as to how we wanted the photos to look. The results were amazing and the photos we received were out of this world. Our album is something we will treasure forever and I'm completely greatful for his great work that he did for us leading to our special day

| We used Mark as our photographer for our wedding in April this year after recommendation from several friends who have used him in the past. Whilst Mark is a truly fantastic photographer, he is undoubtedly also much more than this. From the moment we met him we had utter confidence in his abilities and more importantly he made us feel so relaxed and excited about our special day. He took so much time to explain the importance of timing on the day and he was absolutely right. On the day he is a born organiser and will do anything to make your day pass without any glitches. He almost becomes one of the guests at your wedding and we had no end of compliments about him. The photos he has produced are absolutely beautiful and he manages to capture the true emotion of the day. By looking back at our wedding photos emotions are definitely evoked. My only complaint is that there are too many nice photos to pick from! In a nutshell if you want a fantastic photographer who is genuinely a lovely guy that cares about your day then look no further than Mark. He is my ultimate recommendation to any bride/groom to be.

| We hired Mark for our wedding based on looking at his previous work with landscapes, we had purchased his calendar the year before. I am really glad that we made the decision to have a photographer. I was concerned that standing and posing for pictures would be one of my least favorite parts of the wedding day, however, Mark made it fun and it was actually one of the best parts of the day. He was very good at creating 'natural' smiles and created a great atmosphere with all the guests. I could not have asked for better. He got some fantastic shots on the sand dunes and we are so happy with our pictures. I agree with all the other reviews and the excellent rating, ten out of ten. Becky and Barry XXXX

| Mark (Wedding Photographer) took the photographs for our Wedding in April 2010. We could not have been more pleased with his photographs which were stunning and told the story of our day from start to finish. He was also a wonderful support, keeping the day flowing and offering help when needed (this ranged from helping the men with button holes to helping my wife with dress issues). Guests warmed to him and this further enhanced the photographs. Since the day, we have been in contact with Mark and pestered him at times to ensure we have an album which does justice to his stunning photogrpahs. He is always willing to listen and worked with us to produce an album which both myself and my wife are thrilled with. He is a fantastic photographer and help, and as such I would strongly recommend him to those looking for a wedding photographer.
| What an AMAZING wedding photographer. Mark took photographs of our wedding in April 2010. Firstly, on the day he was not only a photographer but a huge support and guide to keep the day moving. The photographs that were taken were first class and accurately told the story of our lovely day. His contribution to the running of the day allowed us to relax and enjoy each aspect of our celebrations. Guests warmed to his vibrant personality which enhanced all the shots taken. The service we have received has been outstanding from the time that we first made contact to recieving the end products which will be lasting memories of a fantastic occasion.

| Excellent photographer - we are so pleased with our photos. Even though we had not met Mark before the day, we clicked with him straight away and he did everything he could to make the day go as smoothly as possible. The photos on the beach are stunning and we enjoyed escaping from the busy reception to have that time together. A lot of our friends who came to the wedding said that Mark was one of the best photographers they had seen as he arranged groups so quickly and made the photographs so much fun. We would greatly recommend him as a wedding photographer to others.

| What can I write about Mark Button? - Well only my experience. My daughter Laura and her fiance Simon, got married a few weeks ago in April, 2012. We attended loads and loads of wedding fayres - as we all do leading up to the special Big Day. As you all know we saw many different photographers, all offering the same sort of thing. In the end we were inundated and didn't know who to pick. When we met Mark our 1st impression was that he was such a nice guy, - not at all pushy, but his friendliness stood out from the rest. My daughter Laura is in a wheelchair and after chatting to Mark, he put her at ease straight away. We are so glad that we chose Mark to take the photos as he made Laura and Simon's day so special. Our guests thought that he was a family friend. Not only is he a photographer but also a wedding supervisor. He is able to do anything, from helping the boys with their cravats, to doing up the tiniest of buttons and he is able to attach buttonholes where they are supposed to be, and generally made sure that things ran smoothly. He made our little flower girl Phoebe who is 3, an instant fan of his by doing a "High 5" as soon a they met. From then on she was butter in his hands. The photographs are absolutely stunning. Laura, being confined to a wheelchair was unable to gain access to cliffs and castles for different photo shots. Mark used the scenery at "Oldwalls" to the best of his advantage and the shots truly are spectacular! He has captured all of the emotion and happiness of our special day. I cannot thank him enough. If we are lucky enough for our youngest daughter to get married, we certainly won't be looking around for a photographer. What's the point, when you already know who is the best. I am only able to award 5 stars - but that is inadequate. Thank you so much Mark Button. - Kim Griffiths, (Mother of the Bride)

| When you hire Mark for your big day you should understand that your not just getting a photgrapher, but someone who will help you plan your day and make sure everyone is looking their absolute best. Mark was an absolute pro throughout the day, helping the day flo and even finding time to visit my wifes sister at the respite centre. We were delighted with the photos taken, there were many unique photos including myself, my bestman and ushers walking down the middle of the high street in Morriston which looked fantastic.Since our wedding day we have visited Mark and he has been able to advise as to what would best in our album and we have been very pleased with the service he has provided. If you are looking for a wedding photographer in the Swansea area then you will be hard pushed to find better than Mark

| Having had numerous indoor professional photo shoots with well known swansea family photographers, I always felt they were too staged and did not capture the natural looks that I was after. After spotting a lovely series of photos on my friend's wall of her sons, I asked who had taken them and was given Mark's number. Mark suggested an outdoor family photo shoot and after an afternoon down at Bracelet Bay in Mumbles with Mark we had some stunning photos that just captured the moment. My kids immediately took to him and felt relaxed around him, the whole experience was great fun and not stressful like some of the other photo sessions we have attempted. We now have beautiful natural prints around our house and an amazing stretch canvas in the hall. Thanks Mark, we will be back for more photos when the kids are a bit bigger.

| THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER. Mark Button photgraphed my daughter Jaime Leahy and her husband Stuart Leahy's wedding in October 2002. My daughter Jaime passes away in 2005 with Leukemia. Recently i found out that their wedding photographs had been maliciously destroyed.Heartbroken and devestated as i thought they were gone forever. I rang Mark at the end of 2010 as i remembered his name as he had taken such stunning photographs at their wedding.Mark reassured me that he would do all he could to hepl me. He explained that he keeps all the negatives of his work and withinin a short time i received a phone call fron Mark that he had retrieved all my Daughter' wedding pictures and had them printed for me. It was like having all my Christmas's rolled into one. I can never thank him enough for his hard work and kindness. Above all the photograph's are done to the highest 'spec' and now they will be left to my daughter's two little girls to be kept in memory of my Daughter JAIME LEAHY nee REES. Thank you Mark so very much. From Hazel and Jeff Smith Cwmafan Port Talbot "BlessYou"
| If we could only find the words to describe how beautiful our wedding photographs are, only then would Mark Button truly know how much they are cherished, today, tommorrow and forever. We were married at Oxwich Bay Swansea which is a place of outstanding natural beauty in its own right. Together with this and Mark's wedding photography he not only captured the spirit and essence of the day he captured every special moment we all shared together. To us the photographer plays a very important part of any special occasion and getting the right one makes that special moment all the more memorable. Mark Button is second to none when it comes to photography and comes very highly recommended for any occasion. So thank you Mark for being our friend sharing our day and capturing the memories as keepsakes of our hearts

| Hello there Mark! On behalf of my new husband and my family I would just like to say a massive thankyou for the wonderful work you did for us at the Margam Orangery. You went above and beyond photographer status and delivered yourself as a wonderful wedding organizer and planner, encourager and entertainer of children.. (and adults :) to get the most amazing pictures and scenes! Everything about that day was perfect thanks to your superb professionialism, and Gil and I were relieved to have someone who was in control of the day while giving advice to both Ushers and bridesmaids and members of the family. Everyone after the wedding talked about what a super star you were and loved the different sessions of traditional pictures and more modern photos including all of our friends, and also how great you were with the little children, entertaining them and almost tricking them into taking awesome shots. As you know we had many internationals at the wedding from New York to Denmark, Uk to Singapore ...and they all said the same thing....Mark Button Rocks! Now all we need is another awesome celebration for you to come back and take more pictures! Much love! x Sophie and Gil!

| I first did a shoot with Mark Button last September, and we got some brilliant shots on the beach in the sunset. He was really easy to get along with and I immediately felt comfortable with him. That's something you need to acheive natural looking photos! I was really pleased with all the photos he took that evening, however time was limited as the sunset was going quick. So we arranged for another shoot and Mark offered this to me free of charge. The next shoot we did was in the woods this October, as well as on the beach, and they are the best pictures I've had! Absolutely brilliant. This time I felt even more confident and comfortable within Marks presence and was able to do some even better shots! He is such a genuine, nice guy with a good sense of humour and a very friendly personality. The Gower and Rhossili are such beautiful places, perfect for taking pictures, especially with the skills that Mark has with using light etc. I will be including these photos and portrait shots in my modeling portfolio which I am currently building up. I come from Pembrokeshire and I can honestly say it was worth the journey travelling to Rhossili, Swansea, which is quite near to Llanelli. I would definitely recommend Mark if you want some fantastic and original, professional photos! Check out his website, some of my pictures are on there!

| Incredible! The memories of my wedding day have been powerfully created and captured by Mark's lens. What can I say that encapsulates the event and gives an insight into his artesan qualities. Perhaps the best testament to his skill is the contrast between his works of art and the other photographer. Thats right. Before our wedding my wife and I had agreed that the photos were one of our primary objectives. Not only was it our special day, but it was a rare re-union of our family and closest friends ( some of whom had flown in from distant lands for this occasian). For this reason we had organised two photographers. To put it gently over the weeks prior to the weddding Mark had generated a creative guide into how best to capture us and our extended family in an aesthetic, natural and almost poetic environment. Subtly he had transformed himself from a photographer to a friend who offered useful advice on local beaches, weather conditions, and details concerning lighting. On our weddding day, he seemed to instinctively position himself to offer a dramatic backdrop to the ceremony. Surprisingly, the photos gave insight into the subltle nuances of the personalities of our friends and relatives. His photos were an artform which captured the emotions so rich on the day and painted them on the canvas now framed on our dining room wall. In contrast, the other photographer, turned up for the day, took some snappies, and charged us excessively for the watermarked CD. We have never printed any of the poorly illuminated, sometimes overexposed, and badly composed photos. In summary, we found that Mark was primarily a friend who was able to capture in a relaxed manner and distill the beauty of the moment. Thanks again Mark

| Your
wedding photographer is such an important decision which can't be taken
lightly and I highly recommend Mark Button. He did an excellent job of
capturing the magic of our day but was also a lovely, fun person to have
around which is nearly as important as the photographs. He never
intruded or took over, but was assertive and went out of his way to take
pictures of everyone and their families as well as all of our family
portraits. He also made sure special little moments happened, like my
dad helping me out of the car, and everyone being there to throw
confetti and that my husband and I had some time alone to take it all
in. His pictures are stunning and he worked tirelessly to make sure we
were happy, constantly checking in with us and the family to make sure
he didn't miss anything. Beautiful pictures, capturing our dream day
forever. |
